One day he met Carol Danvers and they hung out for a while until she told him her secret and Daniel understood why she didn't tell him. Later on a meteorite struck in the park and was given to Doc Connors to analyze. Daniel was helping out when a white and black goo came out of the meteor and found it's way to Daniel.
