"Olivia, why are you so silent? What is going on in that head of yours?", she asked me.

"I don't know anything anymore", I whispered back. 

"He's gone. You can't change reality. " she said while shaking her head.

I stay silent yet a war raged within me. To believe or not to believe. 

"Olive...", she says gently. 

"Don't call me that!", I snap.

"Well! You're going to have to tell me how you feel someday. Your mother said you love writing. Will you write to him now? Even though he's gone?", she asked monotonously.

"I don't know", I replied. Even though I said that, the emotion in my voice betrayed me. 

I finally knew what I was going to do.
