A chance encounter on a northbound train leads Professor Layton and his young friend Luke to once again team up with the hapless lawyer Phoenix Wright, now accompanied by his sweet little daughter Trucy. At first, the Professor's latest mystery seems like a straightforward missing persons case, but after arriving in the haunted village of Fatargan, Layton and Phoenix soon realise that if they ever hope to make it out of here, they'll have to understand the village, its people, and each other.

The second story in the series! Part of the 'Unwounded Future' series/AU whatever you want to call it. Set shortly after 'Professor Layton and the Conspicuous Organisation.' The Professor has returned from his adventure in America! But what exactly was he doing there in the first place? The Professor has noticed people have been disappearing from the streets of London, making it much more quieter than it usually is. 'Professor Layton and the Politician's Wrath' explores Layton's adventure in America as well as how Luke and Flora can solve mysteries by themselves, without their mentor. Also features returning characters such as Bill Hawks. Shortly after stopping Cyrus and defeating Targent, the Professor and gang decide to relax at Clive's house, where Layton talks about how great everyone was solving the mystery, especially Luke and Flora. But something is on the Professor's mind. The streets of London have been quiet. Very quiet. Layton thinks this is strange and that something is causing this event of silence. But, little does he know, an old rival of Dimitri and Clive has been making moves of his own in order to silence people who threaten his rule and also wants to target the Professor and gang. Can Layton and Co. stop this evil madman from perfecting his rule? Can they stop him from silencing and threatening to kill people? And can Layton trust his friends to not betray him against this person? Or will they stab him in the back and let Layton, Luke and Flora become prisoners to the man? Set after Lost/Unwound Future. Roughly 7 years have passed since Layton separated from his loved one, Claire. The Professor has mysteriously disappeared without a trace. There have been reports of someone looking like him in London but is too fast to catch. "Professor Layton and the Conspicuous Organisation" explores the life of Layton's apprentice, Luke Triton and the Professor's protegee, Flora Reinhold. Also features returning characters such as Emmy Altava, Don Paolo, Dimitri Allen, Clive and even Bronev. Luke and Flora return to normality in London though Flora is still getting used to life there. After an explosion occurs nearby, Luke notices someone who looks oddly enough like Professor Layton himself. But when an old threat rises, threatening the peace of innocent people, and a new antagonist leads them, planning to destroy all of London, will Luke be able to team up with Flora to solve mysteries and find the Professor? Though, it seems Luke may need some additional hands to help solve the mysteries. What happens when old rivals and some old friends emerge from the shadows? Will they help him? Or will they too be a threat to society? Can Luke and the rest of the mystery solving team stop the new threat rising? Or is it just a distraction for something more dangerous to come? WARNING: This contains MAJOR spoilers for Curious Village, Pandora's Box, Lost Future and Azran Legacy and may contain some Minor spoilers related to Spectre's Call and Miracle Mask.
