This is a sequel to my story "Join Us - A Pirates Life is Best". I highly recommend reading that story first, as it explains everything that leads up to the beginning of this one. ------------ At the end of the great battle on Kronos' island, our heroes are left in a sticky situation, with the Royal Navy approaching. In no shape to take them on, just after fighting Kronos' army, the crew must put their trust in Jason, but is that trust misplaced? And what of the information that King Zeus was working with Kronos? Kronos was one thing, but now our heroes may be faced with the entire Navy... ------------ Once again, almost all of these characters belong to Rick Riordan, and this story has no semblance of historical accuracy, so don't complain about stuff like that. Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! (I don't own any of the characters or art work that appears in this fanfic. All of the characters belong to Rick Riordan.)

We've been called bandits and thieves, rebels and highwaymen. But we toss those titles aside, they're rather plain and terrible. For what we want and what we do, there's only one title we can go for, one that matches our motto.

I wrote this book to show that everyone deserves a chance. It is an old-style book, with love, funny lines and fiction. A captain known for his wickedness and ruthlessness set his eyes on a young woman, one evening, at a tavern. After she refused him, she was kidnapped by him and forced to stay there for the rest of her life, not knowing that she would eventually fall in love with him. When it comes to him, he had a terrible life before, and although he dated many women, he loved only one. One that eventually wanted to leave him. Currently, he is addicted to alcohol, sleeps with many women, and has a lot of money. When it comes to her, she was born into a rich family, but her father lost all the money in a game. Ashamed to see his wife again, he left her, leaving her to raise the child alone, in poverty. When she grew up, she got engaged to a rich man for a better life. Currently, she is a brave but innocent woman. Will they manage to be together? This book also contains bad language, abduction, violence, murder, inappropriate jokes, alcoholism, drug addiction, suicide attempts and very explained scenes. Does not contain sex scenes, they are only implied :) If you like the book, please rate it and comment if you want to see something more.
