We've met Josh and Dudoy in Ang Kasarian ng Pag-ibig, so it's their friends' turn to tell their story.

All Bodj and Lisa wished was to publish their undergraduate theses because they discovered a new species of fig (Bodj) and fig wasp (Lisa). For the sake of Philippine Biodiversity! But will they ever finish their papers despite the many obstacles that come their way, such as their post-graduate degrees (Master's for Bodj and Medicine for Lisa), the people their parents want them to meet, the issues regarding Philippine biodiversity and the healthcare system, and most importantly, where they will put themselves in each other's lives? How do taxonomists deal with love? Do they analyze it, describe it, classify it? With the help of their friends Josh and Dexter, and along with the 80's and 90's pop music, they will discover when to cross the line between friends and lovers.

Ang nais lang naman nina Bodj at Lisa ay ma-publish ang kanilang undergraduate theses dahil may natuklasan silang bagong species ng fig (Bodj) at fig wasp (Lisa). Alang-alang sa Philippine Biodiversity! Ngunit masulat kaya nila ang papers nila gayong ang daming dumarating na sagabal, tulad ng kanilang post-graduate degrees (Master's kay Bodj, Medicine kay Lisa), mga nirereto ng kani-kanilang magulang sa kanila, mga issue ukol sa Philippine biodiversity at healthcare system, at higit sa lahat, kung saan nila ilulugar ang sarili nila sa buhay ng bawat isa? Paano nga ba kasi nakikipagsapalaran ang taxonomists pagdating sa pag-ibig? Pinag-aaralan ba nila ito, inilalarawan, inuuri?
