"But you're not alone," he said. "You have me." She briefly nodded and closed her eyes. He rolled back over and smiled into his pillow. For the first time in a long time, he wasn't alone.  
     This girl fascinated him. She felt his pain, yes, but she also cast a golden stream of sunlight onto his dark life. She made him feel like himself again, but this newfound happiness also scared him a bit. No, it wasn't the happiness, but it was her. She was the happiness, and he loved it. 
     Love. Now that word certainly scared him, but Thomas found that he was more scared of loosing that love than the love itself.
