The Heir of Embers

19 parts Ongoing

Every generation, the kingdom crowns its ruler through the Trial of Embers-a brutal competition where only one heir survives the flames. Princess Liora has never been wanted. The king's illegitimate daughter, she enters the trial not for glory, but to prove she belongs. Kael Duskbane, heir to the strongest house in the realm, was born to win. He's powerful, perfect, and infuriatingly smug. He also happens to be Liora's greatest rival. They're supposed to destroy each other. Instead, the fire between them ignites something neither can control. But in a game where betrayal is survival and only one heir can claim the crown... falling for your enemy might be the most dangerous move of all.
