However, when you get there you trigger off an ancient curse which plunges you into Winter. It's up to you to undo the curse and bring back the season of Spring.

In the modern day Atlantis, a university professor prepares for a lonely New Year's celebration. She is caught between despising her aging father and missing a long lost twin brother, trying her best to stay calm and collected in her loneliness. And her brother would like nothing better than to keep her company. Yet that is not so easy for those already many decades dead. While not quite a ghost, Plume finds himself in a complicated position, as he now belongs with those whose touch is as cold as the slowly falling snow. The First in the old Series! As the 21st century continues, Mankind is completely unaware of a whole other world that shares the planet with them. A world deliberately concealed for both of their sakes. A world mankind has forgotten. A world of magic. Citizens of this world are at risk of being discovered every second of every day, as our jets, boats, and even undersea cables run through their lands in the middle of the three major oceans spanning our planet. The only luxury protecting them is their long tradition of remaining forgotten by humans beyond their borders, and their magic making that tradition a reality. But as life goes on for the likes of Atlantean's like Gemini and Paige, a mysterious threat begins to emerge; to Atlantis in particular. Thirteen Points of Light
After a night on the town, Sarah wakes up to a miserable hangover. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. After attempting to light a cigarette, she feels that something isn't quite right. Soon she'll discover that everything is very wrong. My entry in the Open Novella Contest III, Feb 2020. April 28. Just got the news that Thirteen Points has made it through the second round. Now I have to finish by May 5th. I'm not as far along as I had hoped at this point, but I'm sure I can make it. May 4th. 12:10 am. Finished. Submitted. Good night. May 20th. Well, 13 Points made the Long List. I have no idea how many original entries there were but about 940 made the first cut. There's 150 on the Long List. Not bad for my first time out. Now we'll wait and see how we fare on the Short List. May 30th. Well, Sarah and company didn't make the Short List. I can't say I'm disappointed though.
