Escape from the shadows

Scarlet is just your normal 17 year old, but with a big secret. She can see the realm of the dead like her mother could. Her mom was going to tell her about her powers and that Scarlet's was about to awaken, but a shadow hound killed her mom and dad before they had the chance to tell her. Now Scarlet must face life as the chosen child but must also lean to channel and control her powers and face her demons, with the help of her guardian angel Ash Hellfire who has formed a forbidden love with her. Can Scarlet escape from the shadows, or suffer the same fate as her mom and dad? Will she defeat what lurks in the shadows? Will Scarlet and Ash be able to be together, or will the laws tare them apart?
