Memory of the Wingkeepers

Yoshi Evergreen is the chief of Diamond Moon's Police Department.
He's a man with a golden heart, and friends that hold many memories.
Although memories of Yoshi's early past are ones he'd sometimes like to forget, as well as the lucid dreams that have plagued him since childhood.
But when Yoshi's close friend Jackie Andrews, the owner of the birds
and exotic pets shop suddenly goes missing, along with many of the
beautiful birds in the shop, Yoshi finds himself following clues and
leads to Jackie's disappearance.
However, much of the evidence turning up is unrooting the dark ghosts
involving Yoshi's troubled past, as well as strange clues calling him and
Jackie "Wingkeepers". Then when Yoshi's infant daughter Aurora is
kidnapped as well, Yoshi is forced to confront his memories, his hidden powers, and old
enemies, before not only Jackie and Aurora are lost, but himself as well.
