We are only human. The world is no longer in our control.
It is only them. They come in threes, they leave in threes. But they never really leave.
This is permanent.
There is no escape.
There is no loophole.
This is it, you live or you die. See, when the world has come to this, death is easy. But life is a challenge.
I accept.

Life is the sum of experiences that we encounter as we go through life. Day to day struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down a different road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision that we make has significance. The tiniest choice that we make reverberates throughout the entire universe. All of us experience change in our lives. Change is the one constant in our lives. There are changes that we look forward to and change that we fear. However, one thing is for sure. Things will not stay the same no matter how much we would like them too. When a life change occurs, we have two choices in how to respond. We can despair that a change has come and assume that things will be worse, or we can look with excitement at the new possibilities that the change presents. It has been said that life is the most patient teacher. You will be presented with the same experience over and over until you learn the best way to deal with the situation.. This is not because life is cruel. Rather, it is because things have a way of coming back to haunt us when we don't deal with them. One form of intelligence is the ability to learn from mistakes. When you are presented with a painful experience, take the time to think about how you can avoid it in the future. This is an example of a lesson learned.

Thirteen of us formed. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you, but we are not you. We have powers you dream of having. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books. But unlike them, we are real. We live in a world between other worlds where humans are oblivious to the people living around them. What they don’t know is; they're not alone. Do not be fooled, because just because we’re in this story, doesn’t mean we’re all alive at the end of it. Preview: “Harry, you can’t protect me from everything. At some point the danger is going to be too much for you.” My thumb ran over her bottom lip. I rest my palm against her cheek, her innocent grey eyes endlessly peering up at me. “If by my life or death I can protect you; I will.”
