To keep the photographs happy and in its best moments, he keeps his condition between him and Madam Pomfrey so that he wouldn't be pitied. Now in his 4th and getting closer to his death date by the end of the year, he starts to take more and more photographs. But when he and his brother are picked as the Hogwarts Champion for the Triwizard Tournament along with Cedric, he most hide his impending doom from everyone around him while pushing his already weak bodies limits to their full potential.
