It's been a long time since I came back here. Sheepish middle school memories abound. I should be kinder to my younger self, who only ever wanted to love somebody without submitting herself to the awful breaking-open of vulnerability, but god, it's just so embarrassing.

The Trap (Trapped Prequel)
Looking back, I should have seen it coming. Paige didn’t like that I went so far away to university. But it was going to only be for two years. She'd join me after she did her two years at community college. I thought we could swing that no problem. We were solid. But she hated the distance. She hated not seeing me every day. She complained that I didn’t come home enough. She hated that for months on end, texting and phone calls were our only form of communication. It wasn’t enough. She'd ask about the girls on campus. She’d gotten it into her head that girls were always making a play for me. I laughed and told her, even if that were true, I’d never cheat on her. She didn't seem completely reassured by that. The bottom line is, Paige thought she was losing me. She wanted me home with her. But I could never imagine the level she'd sink to—the trap she’d set to make that happen. I'm not sure how to start this; to be honest, I'm not even sure how to write this. If there's one place we can start, my brain, the most fragile yet sacred thing I've ever owned. Again, I'm unsure how or where to start with this, but let's start by being honest. I think a lot, and I'm sure you do too, so let's think together. (this is an original piece)
𝐀 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐄𝐓 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋'𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐌𝐀 - multiple
His lips parted and a soft gasp escaped him. "You're so hot, Misty. Without even trying, yo- you look so beautiful sitting in class, doing your work ignoring me," he said. And each word is tattooed on my heart. I felt a wave of confidence as he spoke while I kissed his neck. "Tell me more," I said and he let out a throaty laugh before speaking again. "And I wish to grab you by the neck and make out with you until we both can't breathe. I want to kiss you in public, I want to fuck you in public, I want to claim you in public," he said as I rested my arm beside him and balanced on it while I unbuttoned my jeans. "Anything else?" I asked, quietly, looking into his eyes as his hands found my hips and pushed my jeans off. "You are just so fucking perfect," he said and I slammed my lips on his lips, my jeans lying on the floor now as I started unbuttoning his pants. ━━━━━━━ 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧 want nothing more than to be rich and leave the town filled with nothing but god-complex rich people. She worked two jobs to help pay for her school until she got on the wrong foot with the popular girl and ended up getting an invite to sleep with three boys in return for money.
