"You can't be here Ophelia!" Bucky angrily whispered to her. He had never used her first name.
"Please Bucky, I can't stand waiting around for something to happen." She pleaded, "I had to do something."
"Being a nurse is something."
"Not to me." Ophelia snapped back, taken back for a moment she sighed. "I can't wait around for the news of the next regiment dead on the frontlines. I want to be out there, fighting on the frontlines."
"Ophelia." Bucky huffed her name.
"Please Buck, don't tell anyone."

Haunted by fragments of a life she once lived and the truths Hydra buried, Annika fights to reclaim her identity-and her humanity. But she isn't alone. James "Bucky" Barnes, the reformed Winter Soldier, knows the weight of Hydra's chains better than anyone. His connection to Annika runs deeper than they realize, tied together by shared trauma and a love that refuses to be extinguished, no matter how much the past tries to pull them apart. As Annika and Bucky navigate missions that take them to the darkest corners of the world-and their own minds-they uncover Hydra's final, sinister project: Oblivion, a program designed to enslave and control super-powered individuals like Annika. Together with the Avengers, they race against time to dismantle Hydra for good. But even as they fight side by side, Annika and Bucky must confront the shadows within themselves. Annika's powers begin to spiral out of control, threatening to consume her, while Bucky grapples with the nightmares that blur his past and present. When a devastating betrayal reveals Annika's connection to Hydra's darkest secrets, she is forced to decide whether she will be a weapon-or something more. 27 parts Complete

When the US undertake the callous World War 2, every citizen, from all ages, rushes to help liberate their country. Including the trio of friends from Brooklyn. James Buchanan Barnes is the first of the three to enlist, following his baby sister, Evangeline Rose Barnes who was quick to follow. Unfortunately, Steve was the only one to be left behind due to his scrawny, weak and teenage-like physique. That was until a lifetime opportunity was placed in the palms of his hands. What Steve doesn't know is that his loved one was offered a similar prospect. In a war that seems to have no end, it will take more than advanced weapons to conquer. It will take the countries most elite soldiers. Ones created but not trained.
