Celeste Potter was the spitting image of her Mother Dorea Potter in every way. so it was no surprise that she was sorted into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor like her brother James.

I have made Dorea and Charlus James parents, as I like having a slytherin as Celeste mother, and prefer these as his parents. And I do truely believe they were originally meant to be James parents in the books
