This book is the submission for the contest of Write to Rank 2021 in which every chapter represents different themes given by the contest's admins with the main genre of action.

Every chapter would be a different story thus this is a book of mini stories with made-up prompts.

The Write to Rank contest is held by @action

Chapter 1 (White Belt): 100 words of running from a crime scene. Framed or guilty?

Chapter 2 (Yellow Belt): 500 words of the epic banter between good and evil. 

Chapter 3 (Orange Belt): 800 words of a trip gone wrong, action-packed and fast.

Chapter 4 (Green Belt): 1.2k words of mystery and action mashup. Write in active voice!

Chapter 5 (Blue Belt): 1.2k words of scifi and action mashup. Reaction more than telling.

Chapter 6 (Purple Belt): 1.2k words of historical fiction and action mashup. Show don't tell!

Chapter 7 (Brown Belt): 2k words one-shot of a clear protagonist and antagonist, cliffhanger, and the line "If we do this, there's no turning back."

Chapter 8 (Red Belt): 3k words of action fanfiction from a beloved and famous fandom of either movies or games or shows. I personally chose The Last of Us.

Chapter 9: 5-10k words of action fast paced short story with character development and active voice. Show don't tell.

She lives through the decades and doesn't grow old. But the police want to arrest Pan for kidnapping and murder, so they arrest Wendy to get information. She is in one location too long, and she had been located by Lost boys. "I'm coming for you my Wendy-Bird" But as she is caught, she is defiant at first but he erased any memory of him murdering anybody, so she learns to forgive him. He's more compassionate then he was before she had escaped and she's sleep in his treehouse with him side by side. Surprised by his compassion (well more like his less harsh to her) She absorbs the moment, she's for once happy after a very long time. So she doesn't run, she doesn't fight back (unless it's playfully), she cooperates. They learn to lean on each other in a time of need. Wendy doesn't want to leave him, as he hid the only one who searched for her and cared enough to stay. But soon she realizes how easily a person can be replaced. That there are secret intentions behind every speech and remark. Is it true love? Even so, there's is a means to an end. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ It is mature due to a little violence. "This is the perfect blend of the two most dangerous creatures that have ever walked the earth. We call it the Indoraptor.", spoke the man known as Gunnar Eversol who was trying to sell the first Indoraptor in a auction. There plans were however foiled. The Lockwood Manor was then overrun by the Indoraptor who had escaped and was relentlessly killing everything that he could get his claws on. A fight soon broke out between the Indoraptor and a velociraptor known as Blue. Owen, Claire, and Maisie were in the fight of their lives, but in the end Blue knocked the Indoraptor into the manor where the Indoraptor was then impaled by a triceratops skull. Dr.Wu was taken away and many others fled while the dinosaurs ran freely into the world of humans. Sometime later, Dr.Wu decided to make another Indoraptor for reasons concerning money. Though, he couldn't get the DNA to make the Indoraptor controllable he decided to change the code. Instead of making another male Indoraptor, he made a female with greater differences than the first. As Dr.Wu works on his money situation, his very creation is watching him from the shadows. One of her caretakers from when she was young had named the Indoraptor 'Sable', for her colors were almost pitch black but that changed once she grew. Sable soon escaped her confinement and not wanting to risk the same thing happening again like the first did Dr.Wu decide to tranquilize her. In 2018, I put together a simple draw to challenge myself (and anyone else who wanted to try) with flash fiction prompts made up of three suits of cards, shuffled and drawn. The clubs denoted a genre, the diamonds were an object, and the hearts were a setting. Starting with January (A fairy tale, a tattoo machine, and a prison) and drawing once a month thereafter, over the course of a week with no more than 1,000 words, the idea was to write a flash fiction piece using those prompts. It let me stretch writerly muscles a bit (especially into genres where I don't often wander). Here are all twelve stories that came out of the Flash Fiction Draw Challenge.
