This book is the submission for the contest of Write to Rank 2021 in which every chapter represents different themes given by the contest's admins with the main genre of action.

Every chapter would be a different story thus this is a book of mini stories with made-up prompts.

The Write to Rank contest is held by @action

Chapter 1 (White Belt): 100 words of running from a crime scene. Framed or guilty?

Chapter 2 (Yellow Belt): 500 words of the epic banter between good and evil. 

Chapter 3 (Orange Belt): 800 words of a trip gone wrong, action-packed and fast.

Chapter 4 (Green Belt): 1.2k words of mystery and action mashup. Write in active voice!

Chapter 5 (Blue Belt): 1.2k words of scifi and action mashup. Reaction more than telling.

Chapter 6 (Purple Belt): 1.2k words of historical fiction and action mashup. Show don't tell!

Chapter 7 (Brown Belt): 2k words one-shot of a clear protagonist and antagonist, cliffhanger, and the line "If we do this, there's no turning back."

Chapter 8 (Red Belt): 3k words of action fanfiction from a beloved and famous fandom of either movies or games or shows. I personally chose The Last of Us.

Chapter 9: 5-10k words of action fast paced short story with character development and active voice. Show don't tell.

This is a collection of my submission for the "Write to rank" challenge back in March 2018. White Belt: 100 word flash-fiction about a moment capture in mid-action. Yellow Belt: 500 word flash fiction about a high speed chase. Orange Belt: 800-word flash fiction that contains a dialogue between good and bad. Green Belt: 1k (min) and 1.2k (max) words - Mystery mashup with action. Blue Belt: 1.2k words - science fiction mashup with action. Purple Belt: 1k - 1.2k words - historical fiction mashup with action. Brown Belt: 2k word one-shot with the following incorporated: An explosion, a damsel (distressed or not), the words - "There is no stopping this madness." and lastly a big old cliffhanger. |WATTYS 2022 WINNER - HORROR| Shawn, a convicted criminal, never thought she'd see the sun again, let alone call another star system her home. When she's offered an out from her prison sentence, she embarks on a dangerous interstellar expedition along with 18 of Earth's most intelligent criminals. Their task is to set up a base on a supposedly habitable planet and prepare it for colonization. Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface. [][][] This was originally my entry for the 2021 Open Novella Contest, and it received an honorable mention! It has now been expanded into a full length novel. I used prompt number 53: "When wildlife starts rampaging, all the humans are forced underground. However, they come to a terrible discovery that being underground is no safer than being on the surface."

A Medieval Action work with a number of different genre as each round's prompts dictate. Battles, Kings, princes, a princess; crowns, plots, twists and turns. Achiever of all the nine belts. WINNER OF ROUND 9 - "A NEW WORLD" Something different for me to stretch my writing skills and get back into one of the things I love most in my life - to create stories. this 'work' idea has been created by Ambassadors here for this "Write to Rank Contest 2022" - each chapter (round) to be written from a prompt given by the contest creators. The first round is a very quick read indeed, - a DRABBLE - a story of exactly 100 words, no more, no less; however much ACTION. ROUND 5 - MORE twists and turns in this unexpected but amazing challenge - mashing up fantasy and action - battles; legends exposed under-cover; flying with eagles; a rare mental condition called today "Boanthropy" - seemingly of fantasy but a historic king suffered 7 years from it! Not a witch - maybe not even an 'Angel' - more human than she seems... "This is the perfect blend of the two most dangerous creatures that have ever walked the earth. We call it the Indoraptor.", spoke the man known as Gunnar Eversol who was trying to sell the first Indoraptor in a auction. There plans were however foiled. The Lockwood Manor was then overrun by the Indoraptor who had escaped and was relentlessly killing everything that he could get his claws on. A fight soon broke out between the Indoraptor and a velociraptor known as Blue. Owen, Claire, and Maisie were in the fight of their lives, but in the end Blue knocked the Indoraptor into the manor where the Indoraptor was then impaled by a triceratops skull. Dr.Wu was taken away and many others fled while the dinosaurs ran freely into the world of humans. Sometime later, Dr.Wu decided to make another Indoraptor for reasons concerning money. Though, he couldn't get the DNA to make the Indoraptor controllable he decided to change the code. Instead of making another male Indoraptor, he made a female with greater differences than the first. As Dr.Wu works on his money situation, his very creation is watching him from the shadows. One of her caretakers from when she was young had named the Indoraptor 'Sable', for her colors were almost pitch black but that changed once she grew. Sable soon escaped her confinement and not wanting to risk the same thing happening again like the first did Dr.Wu decide to tranquilize her.
