After escaping with Ko through the everglow, Fischer awakens to a whole new world. They've no idea where they are nor where to go next. After being taken in by a pair of strange aliens, they make themselves at home and begin what seems to be a new life, free from the struggles of Earth. But as Ko's glimpses worsen and nightmares begin waking her from her sleep, Fischer knows something must be done before things get any worse.
With their new allies, the two of them travel across the galaxy, led on a wild goose chase to find strange artifacts that will help unlock the secret behind Ko's wild visions. But when they eventually discover it, the secret is one none of them could've ever predicted.
