"Hey, are you new here?" Puffy asked once he was close enough.
"Uhm, yeah you could say that."
"Well, welcome to the DreamSMP! I'm CaptainPuffy, but everyone just calls me Puffy," she smiled and stretched her hand out for him to shake.
The boy looked at her hand for a second, contemplating on what to do. He eventually grabbed it, and Puffy realized his hands were very calloused.
"I'm TommyInnit, but you can call me Tommy. It's nice to meet you." His tone was polite and he gave her a small smile.

When Tommy is 18, he returns home after being in exile for two years.

After the Waves devastated the Earth, modern society collapsed. Governments didn't know what to do, and much of the world's treaties and society's pre-imposed rules went out the window. A survival for the fittest. For Tommy, his life of gaming for hours on end was disrupted, and he couldn't go back. Days of screwing around on minecraft servers were gone, and more than half of his friends had either died or gone missing. Tommy finally found him by the beach. They hadn't been back there in what felt like forever, it seemed like years ago Tommy had found the older male injured and bleeding in the forest. "So, you've been here all day," The blonde said to announce his presence but the other didn't seem to notice or bother signaling he did. Tommy took a careful step forward but stopped a few feet away from the seated male. "Everyone's been worried," "They shouldn't be," Dream said softly. Tommy frowned. He took notice the other's mask was resting on the ground to his left and felt his confusion rise. "Why not?" He decided to humor the other. Dream sighed heavily and looked up to the sky causing his hood to pool around his shoulders. "Am I a bad person, Tommy?" The teen's heart stopped, Dream went on.
