When Bucky has to go back to his court-mandated therapy, he was surprised to see it wasn't Dr Raynor, but another therapist, Alexandra Harris.

Alexandra is in for a surprise when she discovers one of her clients is the infamous James Buchanan Barnes. Alex isn't sure if she is the right person for the job, but the more sessions she has with James, the more she discovers that there is a lot more to him that meets the eye.

Bucky much prefers Alexandra to Dr Raynor. He feels relaxed around her. He feels he can tell her anything. But Alexandra is hiding many things from Bucky about her past, things she would rather not tell, but Bucky is determined to learn them.

This book is based after the events of Endgame, and most likely do not match up with the events during tfatws.
