The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.Complete

Part one of a book series, the first book, Stay With Me, shows Joker's deep connection with Batman, and Batman's need for Joker's attention. In this book Batman is having a large string of unfortunate event/deaths, almost to the point he can't take it anymore. Joker notices this and attempts to help. Weakness
It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. His was his age; he was nimble, yes, quick, yes, agile, yes, but occasionally his limbs cramped, or he had trouble breathing. ---Ⓜ️ for blood, gore etc, and bad language! ---Complete

The Second Giant War was gruesome. With only 3 of the 7 left alive, they demigods of prophecy left the camps. They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. Nico... well, Nico had other ways of coping. ------------- Nico had had a long life. 16 years old, plus however many had passed in that cured casino had left little joy in his life. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't.
