Normal na nabubuhay bilang simpleng tao si JM Espiritu. Ang tatay niya ay isang negosyante, sa murang edad natuto na mamuhay mag-isa si JM. Isang araw, may isang taong dumating sa buhay niya na makakapagbago sa sarili niya. Si Sofia, anak ng isang negosyante at ng isang cardiologist.
