Hiccup and Acacia Haddock are the prized children of Stoick the Vast - the heirs of Berk. After a dragon kidnapped Stoick's wife in a raid a few months after Acacia was born, they are all he has. However, luck is not on his side, as Acacia disappears one day, leaving Berk in grief and Hiccup believing he caused his little sister's death.
15 years later, the Dragon Riders are struggling to fend off Viggo Grimborn. When they run into a new group, the infamous Dragon Pirates, they decide to meet them and see if they are friend of foe.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third is the only son of Stoick the Vast, chief of the Hooligan tribe. As his only son, he is next in line for the chiefdom which wouldn't be a problem, if he wasn't a runt. Viking's believe that a name is what strikes fear into your enemies. Hiccup's obviously doesn't. The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. They were lost in the woods for days upon days and miraculously had discovered a night fury, one of dad's greatest fears and very endangered but Y/N just couldn't kill it. Upon finding it Y/N tried to go back to berk to tell everyone about it but couldn't as they were scooped up by the night fury and brought to a beautiful island with abundant food and water supply. Overtime they had became friends and As berk was mourning Y/N was training a dragon, crazy if you think about it. Y/N overtime met new dragons and studied them for days upon days and slowly knew how to train all dragons of any class. How do you find love without finding hate when they shelter in the same spot, while the world is turned upside down. You can't win if you never shoot your shot.
