All Luke has ever known is pain. He grew up in a dog cage. He spent all his youth being tested, poked and prodded, experimented on.
Luke was injected with avian DNA as an embryo and grown in a tube. He has superhuman regenerative ablities. He's strong. And he has a wingspan of seventeen feet.
When he escapes the lab he has to run, fly, anything to escape the whitecoats.
A year later, he has learned how to survive as a bird kid. He's learnt never to rely, never to depend on human. But after he gets in a fight that he cannot win, he finds himself doing just that.
