A year had passed since Alison DiLaurentis disappeared off the face of the earth, and the five ex-friends of the powerful, vindictive girl were entering their junior year of high school.

Although it was strange to be entering another year of high school without the group of friends she once had, Ivy Marin seemed to manage alright - finding comfort in being alone, compared to the way it used to be.

Of course she missed the girls, but she didn't miss the chaos, terror, and drama, that was solely brought by Alison.

Not long after their return, a crazy, anonymous stalker named 'A' begins causing havoc for the girls, but inevitably draws them together, closer than before. Wrapped in a web of Alison's secrets and lies, the girls slowly realise that the leader they once knew, kept a lot of hidden secrets.

From life-threatening situations, threats posed against their loved ones, and deadly blackmail, Ivy has to navigate her life through school, complex family calamities, and the return of her ex-boyfriend - who appears more hotter than ever.

Safe to say the weight of the secrets, piling up on top of her, were difficult to handle.

And secrets never stay hidden in Rosewood.
