Fire Flyers: Wings of Passion by toyota1983
22 parts Complete
The year is 2045. In order to train the next generation of air force pilots, countries around the world have turned air combat into a school sport, officially naming it "Fire Flight". Simply put, a fire flight is a simulated air combat scenario, be it air-to-air or air-to-surface, using dummy munitions to score hits on air/surface targets. It's been 2 decades since the sport was created and some of the best pilots in the world were molded from fire flight. The best pilots usually came from the best schools which had a lot of money to provide the best equipment possible. However, the same cannot be said about the lesser fortunate schools. All schools, rich or poor, have to pay for all the equipment (aircraft, dummy munitions, etc.) themselves. Meaning the rich schools usually were able to afford the best tech while middle and low class schools had to settle for hand-me-downs or worse. Kevin McNamara is an autistic senior in the backwater high school of Monarca High, Monarca, California. He will join the "Monarca Kestrels" fire flight squadron and fill the spot of Kristopher Kestrel, who tragically died in an aircraft collision earlier in the year. He will have to get antiquated with his teammates who are still recovering from Kristopher's death. As a flight of three jets, all of which are relics of the distant past, they will have to work together as they fight above their weight class in almost every match they enter. Kevin will have to experience grief, romance, and the harshness of gatekeeping on top of all the usual stresses of a fighter pilot if he wants his team to become the best fire flyers in the America.

Wings of Fire: SeaWing SuperWeapon

10 parts Ongoing

We all know of the Dragonet prophecy. And we all know of the seawing kingdom and of course, Anemone, the only animus dragon in the Seawing Royal Family and the Seawing's super weapon, but what if that wasn't the case? What if there is another weapon, one that can dominate the skies and the seas, while staying perfectly hidden? Of course, I am talking about the one and only Alicorn super sub. Capable of launching planes and nukes from a rail gun while being able to dive beneath the waves, it is perfect for the job. Enter an average American man by the name of Jenson Peter (P) Brooks, an avid Ace Combat fan who has played the DLC for the Alicorn multiple times. One day, out of nowhere, he gets shot in the middle of a gang war, and he meets the dragon Goddess Draconia, who wants to send him to a place called "Pyhrria." The name rings a bell but he can't quite put a finger on it. Draconia, meanwhile, has found out about Alicorn from Jenson's memories and finds it a fascinating machine, thus deciding that Jenson's body will be that of Alicorn. Surprisingly, Jenson has no objections to this, and his journey in a new world begins when he is sent away to Pyhrria. (Wings of fire belongs to Tui T. Sutherland, Alicorn belongs to Ace Combat)
