Chasing Magic (A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Fanfiction)

The Hylian Champion from a century ago has finally awoken. His adventure, however, does not pick up from where he left off, as his memories have been locked away and his strength has slowly diminished over the decades he spent in a deep sleep. Embarking on a new journey to discover who he used to be and fulfill his destined role once more, Link's patience is tested by a new companion: Raven, a powerful and mysterious sorcerer who found a way to keep themselves alive and young for over a century through their use of magic... and who shows up to annoy him to seemingly no end.
Despite their vastly different viewpoints on both themselves and the world around them, the two somehow end up with their fates entwined as they travel across Hyrule together to put an end to Calamity Ganon. Will Link find a way to get along with Raven? And what about his growing feelings for them? Wait a second... did he say feelings?
Well, regardless of how Link feels about the sorcerer, he still finds himself chasing magic one way or another...

(the story is numbered by scene and narrator, not necessarily occurring immediately one after another. it is written in a third-person point of view, and for the most part, the narrator will be Link.)
(this story is loosely based around my personal gameplay experience of BotW, with touches of fiction where I added my own twist of narrative to turn my gameplay into a story.)

(updates may not be frequent, since I'm mainly publishing this for my own pleasure and not necessarily expecting it to be read. this is just a little project of mine I've been passionate about recently and felt like publishing it for fun.)
