Lacey Nightingale was a demon. Her skin burned when a human touched her, and faded if they held on. Her mother Abri was a demon too, and her father Tony was a mere mortal who fell in love with Abri and gave himself to her, to the dark side. Lacey is a high school student who was taught to always let the demon inside of her control her emotions because a demons tears burn like acid. Then Lacey meets Harry, a curly haired charmer who moved into her class from England and makes her feel human again. But will he run from the monster inside of her, or will he stay to love the part of her that will pain him the most?
