A pregame Saioma fan fiction! No Shuichi won't be all Yandere but he will be over protective and things of the sort. Kokichi does get bullied but not by the usuals, Kaede, Kaito, Rantaro, Maki, ect. Kokichi will give off both soft vibes but also tough vibes because I don't wanna be THAT type of person who will make him very shy and oh so cute and soft.
Shuichi finds himself meeting a new purple haired boy that he hasn't seen around before. The purple haired boy seems to be a tough petite boy at first but as Shuichi begins to gain his trust he begins to soften and show his true colors; not only to Shuichi but slowly, to everyone. Eventually Shuichi finds himself falling deep into love for this boy.

Tldr; smut, fluff, complex story ;) Pregame universe; Shuichi Saihara is an upstanding kid with a defensive aura, he's well liked and keeps okay grades. He's usually well dressed and wears a hat 24/7, his silky blue-ish black hair hidden beneath it. He has a few admirers and is definitely more popular than Kokichi; A kid who keeps to himself. He has good grades because Atua forbid his parents find out he brought home anything less than an A, not that they'd be home much to see it. This is shown in his outward appearance, including slightly messy hair, usually a bandaid or two somewhere on his body to cover up a bruise or a gash made by unfriendly hands, and the traditional 2nd year school uniform as opposed to the 3rd, like Shuichi. Shuichi has a best friend named Rantaro Amami, a self-fulfilled prophecy of sorts. His dad was an unsightly character, beating on his mom constantly before being locked in jail. Rantaro is overly protective, inquisitive, and very.. Observant? He seems like an average kid to others, but if you get caught in one of his "stares"- Well.. You're not getting away from it. His light lime green hair is fluffy and well kept, and he wears a 3rd year uniform like his peers. He also has quite a few piercings- Most of which Shuichi was around for. Join these three as they battle with their emotions, questioning themselves every step of the way. Will they have a happy ending, Kokichi and Shuichi becoming Star-Crossed Lovers? Every day, Shuichi sits alone behind the school, reading his book peacefully, almost as if he enjoyed being lonely. But it was not always the case, as he used to be social and cheerful. Kokichi gets intrigued and worried by his unordinary behavior and decides to approach this outsider to get some answers. Will there forever be an animosity between these two? This sets place in an au where the Damganronpa cast has their pregame personalities but their not crazy psychopaths and just dumb college students. here's the gist of it *finger guns* Shuichi and his friends are sitting at Kaedes dorm room playing a special game of spin the bottle. But Shuichi doesn't know this is a different kind of game. The rules are simple. Whoever it lands on has to pretend to date someone of the other contestants choosing and go to the college freshman dance with them. They also have to complete a To do list in order to win. Kokichi never saw that boy speak to anyone, neither did he hear him talk in the first place, so of course he decided to try and befriend this lonely boy.
