Adaliene is a big city girl in New York, her mom expects more of her than she can give, her dad is never home, and she has to be the big sister of the "perfect" daughter. Cash is a rodeo star in Texas, he has his farm, his father, and his sister. Adaliene and Cash were forced to be pen pals when they were twelve years old neither expecting anything from it.
