Izuku Midoriya had a good life. Truly, there wasn't a single thing he could realistically complain about.
But call Izuku unrealistic.
When his father comes home after being away on a 'business trip overseas' for 17 years to find that not only does Izuku have a mutated quirk that doesn't come from his family, but is becoming successful even without knowing his father, Hisashi is livid.
And perhaps, some of Izuku's scars were not just from his quirk training.

Hitoshi Shinsou was never really one for making friends. In fact, he has explicitly stated that he didn't want, nor need, any friends. He's in for a reality shock when he gets transferred into the hero course and seated behind a freckled boy with a tendency to make unexpected friends.

Izuku Midoriya is a boy that has gone through hell and back. He was bullied for not having a quirk all through middle school by his "best friend" Katsuki Bakugo. Then out of the blue, he gained a quirk. His quirk is called "Emotional Damage". It isn't as bad as it sounds. It just means that when someone is faced with torture or something similar to it you will gain a quirk. It's pretty rare so he doesn't use it much. This quirk allows the owner to have a certain thing happen to him based on his emotions. Deku had gone through a Femboy phase so he just goes with it now, no matter what people say or think and somehow got a harem along the way. He has grown mentally and physically tough so it's hard to get to his heart. Will his harem the consist of his classmates be able to break down the layers to this badass femboy's heart or not. Izuku Midoriya had always had the short end of the stick, wether it went from tripping in public or he's quark or lack of quark he always got the short end of it. So you can imagine he's surprise when he finds out he has 2 soulmates when he was expecting none at all. But of course one of them just had to be he's childhood bully/friend, when he found that out he went to great lengths to make sure he never found out, and when he found he's other soulmate he didn't believe that he'd want him due to all the bulling he went threw, so he didn't tell him ether Over the years as he grew up he started to take a liking to inventing! Just like he's father, Hisashi. So instead of trying for the hero course he gose for the support course, which he gets in with flying colors! Of course nothing ever just gose according to plan for the main character, so of course both he's soulmates try to be friends with him, Katsuki trying to rebuild there relationship while Kaminari just feels the need to be around the other two. Now he has to deal with all the challenges that come with this, fun am I right? ---------- In this Hisashi lives with them and didn't leave for work over seas, also Izuku's whole family is extremely close. ---------- Contains: Cussing, fluff, slow burn, LGBTQ+, and soulmate AU. And the worst pain the soulmate is having the worse the pain in your chest gets. Izuku Midoriya was born with an amazing and unique quirk that you only see every 2000 years as well as 2 other quirks. But he doesn't know who to control the quirk. When he gets into UA he is shocked, especially when he gets into the hero course. Izuku lives with his father as his mother was killed the hero killer, stain, when he was 10. But his father abuses him whenever he feels like it. He didn't care where or how bad it hurt. Izuku Midoriya is a good kid. A great kid, in fact. He's saved two little kids from big time villains, defeated Hero Killer Stain, and survived two villain attacks in only his first year at UA, the top hero school in the country. You wouldn't expect him to have three part-time jobs, an impossibly sick mother, and to live in a dingy gang infested neighborhood, working himself to the bone just for dinner. You wouldn't expect him to make money by doing street performances with a break dancing group, or winning bets with the many gangs in the neighborhood. You certainly wouldn't expect the hero-in-training to commit petty theft to provide for the four other poor families that live on his street. But it's all true. He lives in a poor neighborhood where no one has a decent job and there isn't a single hero, not even an underground one. The kids there have only been to the city once or twice, and none of them have parents. One girl does, and was left there willingly. They regularly have to fight off the vermin trying to take their food, and consider a single dollar a fortune. This is Izuku's home. and, if his teacher doesn't find out what's going on soon and save him, it may be his deathbed. I mean, is it really his fault a piece of the ceiling crashed onto his legs and completely shattered them? Disclaimer: I do not own Boku No Hero Academia.
