City Of Angels (SWAT / One Chicago Fanfiction)
Alyssa Halstead is the youngest of the Halstead siblings. She grew up in Chicago her entire life and joined the Chicago Police Department after high school. Alyssa spent 2 years in the gang & narcotics unit, applied to the Chicago Swat Academy, and made it into Swat as one of the youngest female Swat officers. 6 months later her mom got sick and was diagnosed with cancer, which ultimately led to her death 4 months later.
Alyssa was hoping that both her older brothers would return home and help her and their grieving dad with the funeral arrangements, and be together as a family during that difficult time. However neither one of them returned, Will was overseas in Sudan working as a Doctor with Doctors across borders,
and Jay was still overseas with the Army Rangers in Afghanistan.
A few months after the funeral Alyssa decided to move out of Chicago for a fresh start in a new city. She found a job opening as a Swat officer in Los Angeles, also known as The City Of Angels.
