"You work this case like you work any other" I tell him as I look up at his tall frame from my sitting position at my work desk. I look back down and start to read the files of the new case. His hands forcefully land on the corners of my desk, but my eyes never falter from the witness reports. His large hand connects to the bottom of my chin, his thumb gripping the top of it, strong enough to separate my lips slightly.
"You don't need to explain how to do my job to me Isla." He whispers as he stares straight into my eyes. I slyly smirk and lean closer to his lips stopping centimeters from them.
"Well someone has to Mo-" I start to say before his lips forcefully enfold mine shutting me up.
