They thought it was over-the running, the hiding, the fighting. Until one day, they get a letter from an unknown person, and everything turns upside down.

Three years ago, the Bane's were reunited, celebrating marriages, building their own families; their lives free of worries. Finally, they were at peace. Nothing could possibly go wrong. They were going to get a happy ending, or so they thought.

Apparently, the past always comes back to haunt you.

"What. Do. You. Want." I hiss into my phone. He's silent for a moment, which only increases my distress.
Finally, he spoke. "Revenge." I roll my eyes.
"Obviously, everyone wants revenge on me. What did I do to you? Huh? Did I hurt your feelings? Kill your ego? Cut you off in- "
"You ruined my life," he cuts me off. "And I'm going to do whatever it takes to make you suffer the way I did."
