Sylus, now influential and firmly at the top of his organization, refuses to leave her in the darkness from which she cannot escape. He takes her in, offers her a home, safety, and for the first time, the chance to breathe freely.
But the more she is by his side, the stronger his attraction to her becomes. Like a magnet. And Sylus begins to fear... not her, but that the feelings awakening in him could hurt her more than anyone before him.
