(A foster/adoption au centered around Technoblade and Ranboo)
Puffy had given him a little information when they spoke. He had gleaned a little more from the files she had sent him that he had only had a little time to flick through before she asked him to drive over.
He knew that Ranboo was ten years old. He had been in the system since he was a baby, he had been through a number of foster homes already - Techno didn't know the reason why he never stayed but he didn't need to. This was temporary and besides, Techno had heard this story before. He was familiar with the system. A different country, but there wasn't much of a difference.
But the reason that Techno was here was because Puffy needed help. The kid needed a place to spend a few days, until she could sort out another foster home. It was short notice and she didn't have anyone else to turn to.
So she had called him, called in that favour, and now he was sitting here, only a few metres away from a kid that he was supposed to look after.
Only for a few days.

Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N. My social worker always forgot to call me Wilbur and I stopped correcting him a while back.' He replied, choosing to ignore the feeling of anxiety at the realisation that was the most he had talked throughout their meeting. 'Alright mate. Oh, and please call me Phil. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that.
