In the world of Inkopolis, squid kids and octo kids compete in war-like battles with turf for fun. Enjoying themselves, they live their lives trying to be the freshest on the block and showing off their sick skills. Word got out about an accident involving S4 member Aloha, S+ ranker Rider, and that one blue haired kid. Their teammates and friends meet up with them to see if they are alright, but something strange starts to happen. It's not just Aloha acting weird anymore, it's everyone. Inkopolis bay is a new place to start, no more rotten past following X as they move in. They get situated easily enough, but...they still don't have friends, even with a curious sea hareling named Y following them around. Life is boring for a little while until Y takes them to meet their friends. And for a moment, life doesn't seem so bad... Until they invade. Not Makoids, not Salmonids. The Chrysalings. Strange hybrids of insects and cephalopods have come to Inkopolis bay to take everyone back to their home, wanting to please their ruler with the love for music, friends and battle that everyone has. With X, Y, and a few others surviving hidden in the ship of NS Arctorra, it's up to them to bring everyone back and restore the bay to what it was before.

From sanitisation, to a world full of order, absolute chaos, or... places that aren't Inkopolis? These worlds could contain anything and what ever awaits them on the other side of their portals will definatlely be an adventure. This series of events in this book is (technically was because it is being re-written) canonical to the 38 Saga. However, this follows a different story, so you do not need to read it to understand these books.
