Working as a mission coordinator at the Avengers Tower had its ups and downs. Days were disorganized, you were treated like an assistant most days. Reminding the heroes to file their paperwork and to eat lunch in between training sessions. Having to train yourself just in case you made enemies by sending a force of literal super humans to stop people who are determined to undermine humanity. Having to decide which world problems could be solved by the Avengers and which should be handled by the world's governments. It was a difficult job, and one that the world couldn't know about, and one that you handled with grace.
Things were quiet for a while, when the rumors reached your desk. Tales of an urban legend come to life. The Winter Soldier was at work. Cap literally begged for the Avengers to be the ones to find him, but no one suspected what would happen when they did.
This story takes place after the events of the first Avengers film. I won't be following the plot of the winter soldier film

Confused, the Winter Soldier, aka Bucky, wonders around the streets of New York. He can't go back to HYDRA, they would wipe his memory again. And he wants to remember.
