Astrid Noxburn is a daughter of a praised monarch, and heiress to a threat. Such threat that could make Lords quiver, and kings send disquieted looks. Not only is she heiress to such menacing threat, she is a member of it. The threat is the Crown Assassins, women of wrath and steel. They only work for the highest ranking monarch of the High Moon Kingdom. It was customary for the monarch to be a woman, but after the Queen was slaughtered the King took over. Astrid, heiress to the High Moon throne, joined the assassins. An act out of pure retribution, a silent wish of vendetta sworn onto her iron blade. First she would become a Beta Assassin, the highest ranking assassin besides the Alpha. Next she would become Queen.
