The Red Swan, Book 1; Fallen Swan

A young Samurai, Sorano, is the son of the Great Shogun. However, previous events have led to dishonor between his family, and the family of his best friend. The only way to solve this was a duel. Whoever won would take the title of Shogun! However, surprising events led to Sorano barely surviving, and becoming known as the "Fallen Swan!" After the events, he was forbidden from training with his katana. As such, he leaves to learn techniques from all across the world to use in combat! If he cannot use his katana, he will use the techniques warriors from across the world have crafted to defeat his best friend, and claim the title of Shogun!

The Red Swan books follow Sorano through his years, from a young man to an aged warrior. It will show how he learns the techniques of others, and obtains even weapons from them to use in Japan! As his years go on, he will learn many techniques, and use many weapons. But not all will be obtained peacefully. He will find himself in wars and battles, some of which will test him to his limits! This historical-fiction/adventure tale will show all of this, and how he either met great victory, or a last humiliating defeat.
