Having to hear the mouth of the head chef 6 days out of the week, already knowing the guy had it out for him since he walked through those restaurant doors, Alton tries to do all he can to prove, he too could someday be a head chef. Even if that meant leaving no room for a social life, or any other life outside of the restaurant business. 

Elizabeth, a young librarian who has had a taste for a good story, and great quality food since she could remember.
