This is a novel which basketball fans and rom-com lovers will enjoy. A story of love, jealousy, betrayal, cultural conflict, self-discovery and career clashes that cease to come between two hearts longing for each other's presence.

Writer and qualified teacher Remoratile Morgan is a South African woman who strives to make her book launch a success with the help of her friends and coworkers in Orlando, Florida. A motive behind the venue of the book launch party was due to a long time crush which she had on a prominent basketball player and astonishing American singer called Vincent Oyedepo.

Her wish came true but it took more than a teenage crush to get to know a crush turned to an acquaintance. The duo had a special bond and a moment shared together converted into a lesson of a lifetime. They both had demons they dealt in unison as they became blessings to one another. Promises were made and kept till the end.

The setbacks they had broke and buit them, smiles turned into frowns and careers became an obstacle to their way to being together. They went through it all against all odds. In the end, will they sink or swim their way cross the ocean of friendship or love?
