Lily Kane just wanted to make her father proud, and she was almost there. But then Lily got a little sister, and Lily went to jail to give her sister a chance at life.
Four years later Lily is waiting to be floated when she and a friend she had meet just a year ago are sent to earth with a bunch of other rule breaking teens. Has Lily tries to watch the 99 other teens, and the stow away, old friends are reunited. New friendships are formed, and of course with 101 teens age 9 and the oldest being 23, love and drama is also in there. Oh and we can't forget the grounders that live there on earth who want the teens dead.
