Alternative timeline story of Izuku Midoriya aka Deku, in the My Hero Academia universe/Boku no Hero Academia. In this story grows up much the same quirk less, victimized, and treated worse than a bug under shoe. His home life leads to a disastrous situation, with a helpless incapable mother to defend him, and an abusive quirkiest father, leaving him to fend for himself. A wake up call is given too the overly radiant and smiling hero wannabe, whose dreams are snuffed under a crushed candle wick, letting him see the worlds true image in the darkness. Instead of hiding from it, he lights his own torch, and shows the people of the world, what existence truly means.

However, after the devastation of the All For One bombing by Shigaraki, only 25% of the country is left with quirks. 15% of those are villains, and only 7% are heroes. The remaining 3% are people with quirks that aren't heroes. Since the bomb erased the quirks from several people, the top 12 heroes started their own agency.
