I awoke to a loud knock on the door. I heard momma open the door. "Pack up your things", barked a scary nazi soldier. My mother came running upstairs. She said to me,"Delilah pack up your things and go tell Augustus". I took a pair of clothes,shoes, and my star of david my jewish church gave me. i told Augustus (who was my little brother) and then went to my baby sister Evelyn's room to get her things packed up. "Five minutes", yelled the Rude soldier. Papa, momma, Augustus , Evelyn and I were loaded on a train with terrified people. Most of them had the date of David clutched to their chests. We were as tightly packed as sardines in a can. I could hardly breathe, in fact some people were suffocating!! My mother started to cry. I for one knew where we were going, I was terrified too for I have no idea what the concentration camps were going to do to us. I'm 14 years old and my brother Augustus is 8, therefore he doesn't undrstand what it happening. When we arrived at the concentration
