Jess Mariano was just getting over losing his ex-girlfriend when he meets Lita Perez in his favorite record store in New York. When running into each other again in Philadelphia, they grow into a close friendship. They seem like an odd couple, with Jess' moody, reserved attitude clashing with Lita's bubbly, outgoing one. But when they find out of each other's dark pasts, they both realize that they're more in common, and perhaps they'd grow into something more?

Following the end of "Gilmore girls: A year in the life", this story starts in January 2018. Some characters are my own, those from the original show "Gilmore girls" obviously belong to ASP. I use them for the purpose of this story only. As it is, most of the main characters from the show will only be marginally involved as this story centers around Colin. Also, there will be some explicit, smutty chapters. However, those won't be part of the main story and will be clearly marked. So, if that kind of writing / topic isn't up your alley, you can just ignore those.
