Red and John used to be inseparable. They loved each other; best friends and lovers.
One argument ended it all.
Heartbroken Red vowed to never fall in love again. She was doing a good job too. Until Ricky came along.
Ricky was just some random guy Red texted after finally trying to abolish her boredom, At least that's how it started.
Red knew she was crushing on her friendly stranger when she got tingles every time her phone displayed his name. She was happy.
But when John comes back into her life; a old flame starts to reignite. She keeps both boys away from each other with the help of her friends and keeps from letting Ricky know about John.

"How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod.
