This is the story of Ryu, a young hybrid Saiyan that Goku found in the woods while out on a walk with ChiChi and baby Gohan. Goku couldn't find his parents but did find a letter addressed to him and ChiChi. They learned that his name was Ryu. His family couldn't take care of him due to civil war breaking out in their country, or at least, that's what the letter stated anyway. Goku and ChiChi decided to adopt Ryu. Several years have passed and now Ryu is growing up. What will Dragon Ball Z have in store for Ryu and the Son family? (I don't claim any rights to the picture.) {This is the Prequel to; Ryu: The Saiyan with a Heart of a Warrior.}

Dragon Ball Z (Alternate Story)
In this alternate story, all of the events in Dragon Ball go the same they did in the original storyline; however, in this alternate story, Chichi conceived a child before the beginning of the Saiyan Arc. Naturally, Chichi is concerned as a mother, as she would give birth before Vegeta and Nappa arrive on Earth. When the Saiyans are defeated, Chichi enters the room with a baby, who is introduced to Gohan and Goku as Gokin (ゴキン). Of course, since Goku was dead and Gohan was kidnapped throughout the Saiyan Arc, this means that this would be a shocker to them. The entire Namek Arc happens as it does in the original storyline, and Mecha Frieza arrives, putting everyone including Gokin, in serious danger.
