Fate, a funny thing, isn't it? How it attracts two people together. How events occur.
Geralt meets a hunter in the woods, an unordinary person. (Y/N), fascinated by him decided to join him. Destiny has brought them together, though not all of it is for the better. Love stikes both of them, and the more time they spend together, the stronger their bond becomes, and together they'll face tough times.
I do not take credit for the world, or main plot, as well as the characters involved. I only own the reader insert and the plot that brings her and Geralt together. All rights of that I don't own go the company that made the show and the writer of the novels.
I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoy making it! I will try to frequently update it and I'll keep pulling source material from the show, with a few things derived from the books and games.

It all started years ago, from a young age Selene had always been....well different. Some say the girl was marked by Destiny, others said she was cursed. Out of 100 girls she was the only one to survive a horrifying ordeal, One she hardly remembers herself. All she knows is years later she's a rare type of mutant, she went against the normal laws and rules, such as having no emotion. She could still access them, she could still feel and bond. Yet she never wanted to. At least not until destiny decided to kick her in the face. And to think it all started that simple stupid winters day in a run down town in a seemingly empty market. That's when it all changed. Now I own absolutely nothing, some ideas have been altered to fit my story. But I do not own any of the characters except for Selene and any other OC. "If we are to use you as bait to lure our possessed Witcher here to Kaer Morhen, do you understand what that entails?" Jaskier nods, but he remains quiet. A slight tremor works its way into his right hand, and Yennefer smirks at its appearance. The sorceress scoffs faintly, and she approaches him. There is something in her violet eyes, like a spark that proceeds the wildfire it causes as she comes close, her voice growing low and sharp. "He will hunt you," Yennefer whispers, as though she is reciting some sort of spell, bewitching as she is sardonic, "You cannot hide from him. You cannot outrun him. You cannot overpower him." Jaskier swallows, but he does not waiver. Not even as Yennefer begins to circle him. Despite the tears in her dress and the dirt that clings to her form, she remains as entrancing as ever. It's as though she's a fever dream Jaskier can only spot from the corners of his eyes. Her words come to Jaskier like a mirage, a silhouette muddled in fog. The only solid sensation coming from her being the race her words bring to his heart. "You will be at the Witcher's mercy." That should scare Jaskier. But it doesn't.Concluida
