A young teen is framed for a crime he didn't commit.  While he is locked up, he gains a fortune angel who helps him in exchange for money. Afterwards, he quits his job as an indentured servant and roams the world as a merchant adventurer.

Trained by a mercenary giant in the art of combat, and how to court young ladies by a dwarven bard, he finds out the truth behind his prior life's death.  His lifelong friendship with a beggar he picks up, gets them into a volley of adventures, from abduction, to war, to espionage--he'll do it all. He'll grow up to be a fine man with an affinity to continuously bump into gods and deities.

Not a harem or taking revenge story.
