Meet Aphrodite. I guess you could say that she has in fact another similar story as the Popular Book and Disney movie and Cinderella but what if there is no stepmother but a stepfather, what if there is one stepbrother and one stepsister. What if Prince Charming is not the one she loves?

Sweet Dreams: A Modern Fairytale
This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own. Our dear Cinderella loves to bake, but she's not exactly looking for love when an opportunity to make a name for herself comes up. As for Prince Charming, he is looking for love, just not in the usual fairy tale fashion. And as usual, there's some extra mischief from the step family, royal family, and fairy godmother. One day their parents give them an ultimatum they can't refuse. Marry each other and have the whole two kingdoms rule and have the benefits along with it or denounce themselves as an heir and become ordinary citizens. As they don't want to lose either of their titles the princess and prince agree and put up with each other for their parents.
